Liberation of Daggerford

A battle fought during the War of the Sword Coast Lords, in which the The Liberators infiltrated and subsequently liberated Daggerford.
The Liberators were capable of defeating a force far larger than themselves thanks to catching the defending forces entirely off guard.

Prelude

Owain Dumbledore infiltrated Daggerford, disguised as a member of the KotWR. Shortly after, the rest of the party follow, entering via the settlement's sewage system.

The Engagement

Owain opened the gates to the north of the settlement allowing Owain Dumbledore to enter, along with a contingent of soldiers sent by the Lord's Alliance .
The rest of the party opened the southern gates, allowing civilians to flee, before returning to remove the remaining KotWR.

Historical Significance

This event is what gave The Liberators their name.
