Lord's Alliance

The Lord's Alliance was an organisation of soldiers formed to protect the free cities of the Sword Coast from evil. It is not to be confused with the Allied Northern Lords, which was a political organisation.
After The Siege of Triel, much of their forces were wounded or injured and the organisation unofficially disbanded during the chaos following the Shuddering. A number of the remaining members later formed the Retainers, a similar organisation, but more heavily influenced by religious piety.
