Dark elf

Dark elves (also known as drow) are a dark-skinned sub-race of elves that predominantly live in the Underdark. Those in the Underdark are often feared, but occasionally dark elves live and integrate within the surface world. This is not easy however, thanks to their sensitivity to sunlight.
Dark elves are believed to have descended from the common elf ancestor race, along with the high elves and wood elves. They are a reclusive race, but are found in the Underdark of both Jaerun and Besol.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Dark elves are easily distinguished from others thanks to their skin tone, typically jet black or obsidian. The dark elves usually have flowing white hair, and eyes ranging in colours from red to lilac, and occasionally black. The drow are considerably shorter than the other elves, standing at around 5'2"—5'11".
