Bifrost Strider
The Bifrost Strider is a figure that features heavily in the myths and legends of the Spine Folk.
Summary
It is said that the Bifrost Strider is a mortal, capable of crossing the Bifrost (the rainbow bridge that the Spine Folk believes leads through the Astral Plane, connecting the Inner and Outer Planes) whilst still alive.
Practically, this meant that the individual could pass freely between the land of mortals and the lands of the celestials, the demons and the dead. Thus, if the Bifrost Strider were to die, they could simply cross the Bifrost back to the mortal plane.
