Sparks was a pirate on the RazorRoze crew, he now works as a body guard for Doctor Vreda Roben.

Personal history

Vernon was born to an afluent family on the Vida Colony.

Childhood

Vernon had always been a stargazer and lover of space travel. He begged his parents to let him aprintace as a stardship pilot instead of becoming an archetect like them. It took alot of convencing but he managed it under the promis of settling down in a political marrage once he was of age.

Luckily, the marrage was to his best friend, so it really wasn't much of a sacrifice for him and was the liekly outcome regardless.

Early Adulthood

As promised, Vernon partnered with his childhood best friend, Vizaja Zderlinj. They had always been very close and it just seemed right. They hated being apart and would defend eachother's honor to the other houses at even the slightest provication.
They had a child they named Holliz and were happy and content in thier lives together as a family.

Bad Luck

Unfortunatly the good times could not last, as he was tricked by a rival into deliving an advanced Vondren Stardriver to a band of pirates. He tried to clear his name, but was almost killed trying to steal it back and labled a pirate himself. While being extradited to Ciwn Securities on Vondren, he got his hands on an experamental Skybreaker and flead to the pirates that had tried to kill him. Impressed with his feats, they took him in.

RazorRoze

While trying to find a way to get back home and clear his name for good, he worked with the pirates, training the teens on the drew how to pilot in leu of getting to teach his own child the same. The more he stayed the deaper he got untill finally it was too late to really return.
He always sent his share of the favor and physical gains to Vizaja, and wrote to her and thier child often. He usualy took more than his fair share of the spoils, much to the distaste of the firstmate, but the captain and others let it slide.

Vida Disaster

When the Vida Colony was lost to the bugs durring the war Vernon was devistated. Losing Viz and Holliz compleatly was too much for him. He left the crew and drifted aimlessly for a while.

Vreda

While on a drunken bender in Aeance, he met a young medic named Vreda Roben, she hired him as a body after her defended her from a pirate, and she hired him as a body guard. He's been working the position ever sence. Trying to find meaning in helping people down on thier luck and on the run like himself.

Gender Identity

Gender, as we know it, doesn't exist in JauVon.
Despite that, Sparks is referred to with he/him pronouns when we write about them.
