Dragontooth Isle

Dragontooth Isle is a medium sized, remote island located of the Hankar mainland. The island is home to a number of dragons, who have lived there for centuries and have become an integral part of the island's ecosystem.   The island itself is dominated by towering mountains, sharp cliffs, and rugged terrain, with few flat areas suitable for building or agriculture. The dragons who live on the island have adapted to this harsh environment, and have carved out lairs and nesting sites in the rocky crags and deep caves that dot the landscape.   The dragons who inhabit Dragontooth Isle come in all shapes and sizes, ranging from the smallest hatchlings to the mightiest ancient beasts. They are fiercely territorial and protective of their young, and will defend their territory from any intruders, be they human or dragon.   Despite the danger presented by the dragons, the island has long been sought after by adventurers and treasure hunters seeking to plunder the rich hoards of gold, jewels, and magic items that are said to be hidden on the island. Many of these would-be treasure hunters have fallen victim to the dragons' wrath, and their bones can be found scattered throughout the island.   Despite this, there are rumors that a few brave souls have managed to forge alliances with the dragons, and have come to diplomatic terms and even ride on them. These dragon riders are highly respected on the island, and are sometimes allowed to enter the dragons' lairs and treasure troves, where they can collect rare treasures and artifacts.   Visitors to Dragontooth Isle should be prepared for a perilous journey, but for those brave enough to face the dragons, the rewards can be great. The island is said to hold many secrets and treasures, and those who are able to navigate its rugged terrain and survive the dragons' wrath may find themselves richly rewarded.
