Manthasir

The Manthasir is the primary religious faction of modern Lihiri, worshipping patron god of Lihiri Mantha, a woman who supposedly slew 1000 Orcs in the All-War, before her ascension to Godhood. They are highly controlling of religious worship in the city, believing that none should pray to an alternative god or goddess. Although many of the Lihirian people oppose them, none would dare outright speak even a word of criticism about the organisation due to the extreme power they exert over the city. Prior to their operations in the city, most Lihirians worshipped a pantheon of twelve gods.

Structure

The organisation is led by a single High Priest, traditionally male, although in recent years they have been known to be female. The organisation also have a seat on the Phaelmorn Council of Five, known as the Fang of Gold, currently occupied by Brun Fernhunter. One particular, more secretive area of the organisation is the Chosen, who are suspected to "convert" members of other religions.
