Beacon

A large lighthouse located on the far-western side of Novaria and headquarters to the Church of Hope.

Purpose / Function

The Beacon is one of the most frequented sites of prayer in Novaria, second only to the Seven Pillars. Additionally, the burning pyre atop the structure acts as a guiding light to those approaching the city, a light shedding hope to those who seek the blessing of Davna. This second purpose is mostly symbolic, as the Gold Inlet is much easier to spot from the distance.

Architecture

Over 100 meters tall, the lighthouse towers above most other buildings and landmarks in Novaria. It has a rectangular shape and its walls seem to be painted blue. The lower half of the structure is hollow, lodging a luxurious church, while the upper levels of the structure grant access to the beacon itself, a large pyre which is kept burning at all times.
