Episode 1: A Changing World

General Summary

James, freshly moved into town, meets Orban at the Waffle House on the edge of town. Alora gets promoted to co-owner of the Groovy Sip. Ollie sells pink cocaine to a cokehead, who gets mauled to death by chimerical piranha-dogs.
The to-be motley meet at a party when Alora, Addy and Ash go through their Chrysalises in quick succession. Orban convinces them all to go to Pleasant Springs Homes, where they meet Tarl, the Repugnant, Nor Nan and Duke. Ollie becomes Ash's "mentor", while the Repugnant takes on Alora and Duke takes on Addy.
The gang joins Tarl, the Repugnant and Orban for tea, where they learn that there were 3 groups striving for control of the freeholds in the area that were going to be met all around the same time. The motley agrees to go along, and the plan is set: the Repugnant, Ollie and Alora would go to meet the representative of the Duchy of Dogwood; Tarl, Addy and Ash would go to meet the one from the Kingdom of Apples; and Orban and James would go to meet the one from the Kingdom of Grass.
