Markent
Also known as screw horn or twist horn, the markent is a large herbivore found in Uspan woodlands, though they also do well in open plains and mountainous areas. They are best recognized by their sheer bulk, long manes contrasted against the short fur on the rest of the body, and most of all by their twisted horns.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Their most recognizable trait are their horns. Both sexes grow horns, though those of females are markedly shorter. These horns form tight curls, in a corkscrew-like shape, but unlike those of a markhor, don't grow straight. Instead, the horns of a markent bend, curving first outwards, and then back inwards, pointing at the other horn and forming a half circle or crescent shape.
