Ilathion

Ilathion is the Imperial name for the solar deity, the king of the devas and the ultimate steward of the Earth. He is one of the Crowned Ones, and first spoke the Oath of Nature, devoting his great powers to the maintenance of the Earth.

Overview

Asimets

The Asimets, called the Ashemht ('Eastern-people') in their own language of Athamacevet, are an ethnic group of humans and faelk who live in the eastern land of Seseceria (Seshekrk 'Holy-soil'). They revere Ilathion as Himik el-Akhmada ('One of the Great Light)', though many of his closest followers call him Malishuk ('King').

Blazenblood

To the Blazenbloods, Ilathion is called Aforitos, and his dominion over the Sun makes him the king of all fire elementals, as it is by his rays of warmth that they are given a chance for existence. They believe that he created the Earth by superheating primordial matter and fusing it together and that his command of aether allows him to use a sort of transcendent fire that can forge together body, spirit, and soul. Thus, they worship him as the creator of everything within the terrestrial and celestial sphere.
