The fairy tale murders.

Strange incidents and murders have been happening in Coldbridge the party with a good reputation are asked to assist in the matter across 4 separate crime scenes.
The first scene is a suspected werewolf attack. A mother left her 7 children at home and locked the door before heading to market. When she returned the door was open and the children were missing. Questioning the guard they find out a werewolf attack has not happened here in years. The reason for the suspicion being a large wolf like paw print in a white substance (later revealed to be flour) on the outside the window. Also outside a empty jar of honey is found. The crime scene reveals no blood but the room has clearly been ransacked.
The second crime scene investigated is a single murder. Entering the house they find a women with her head in the oven clearly dead. This room is also clearly ransacked as well. Examining the body bruises from small but strong hands are found on the body the bruises also have cake icing on them.
The third crime scene is on one of Coldbridges bridges. 3 bodies 2 were fished from the river 1 the body of a guardsman. The guards body has been trampled almost like a stampede on the bridge bloody hoof prints start at one end and disappear when the bridge ends. The 2 bodies from the river have clearly died of poison. Examining the bodies clearly revealed a single puncture mark on each and the tip of a stinger. Checking the riverbank revealed footprints 2 sets. One humanoid approaching then entering the water the second set 8 legged that intersected the humanoid footprints then disappeared. Further examination revealed the foot prints to match one of the victims. Remnants of spellcasting materials was found possibly for a dominate person spell.
The 4th and final crime scene was at a warehouse. The roof suddenly collapsed in wards from a large thing that fell from the sky. Entering the unstable structure the "object" was a cloud giant. Examining the body reveals it died from falling a great height, further examination of the area reveals leaves of a large stalk like plant.
After some research the party discovers all the incidents are linked to fairy tales.

The partytrack down a legend of a cursed book. This cursed book is The real Grimm fairy tales. Created by a grandma hag to ruin people's lives. When a tale from the book is read it comes true summoning the creature from the feywild (yes the big bad wolf is real) to act it out.As long as the book is not read from it is safe. The party are able to track down the book and confiscate it.
