Likes: Half naked oiled men Curing and tanning leather to make things (Could ask Dain to hunt the right creatures maybe?) Looking after animals, particularly horses and including Children. (Note: Tiny Smaug is not an animal but a great and noble creature bestowing his magnificence on us, fire – death – fabulous, just keep repeating it in your head.)

From the small village of Aaran, halfway between Loudwater and LLorkh Owned by Lord Karras Estonbrook. Karras has a Wife Newala and Sons Kaiden and Osbern. Karras is a cruel and evil tyrant. His Bailiff and Reeve terrorised the villagers who would find themselves being punished for the least crime or sometimes for no crimes at all. Karras' wife was never to be seen but the sons would like to ride through the village and kick or beat anyone who offended them.
Lira is married to Jared who lives in the village. The families farm 30 acres of strip land but Jared had a way with animals so worked up at the manor and helped look after the Lord's horses. Lira and Jared have 2 children. Unfortunately for Lira, she has come to the attention of one of the sons. When she rejected his advances he sends the bailiff to take her from the village to work as a maid at the manor house.
Life as a maid for the Eastonbrooks was not a happy employment. She knew it was only a matter of time before something terrible happened and rarely got to see her family but such is the life of a peasant so instead she thought about childish things to try and distract herself and makes any excuse to sneak away to the stables whenever she can where her and Jared dream of stealing a horse and escaping the manor but this is impossible as the rest of the family would all pay for their freedom.
Sleeping in the stables one night she wakes to find in front of her is a unicorn who introduces himself as Eachthighern, (Ek-tee-arn) the unicorn deity of Healing, Loyalty, and Protection, and offers her a deal. In exchange for her services in the future he would give her the power to free herself and her family. She accepts and the next night the whole family escapes the village and go into hiding.
Eachthighern again appears to the whole family and explains he will keep them hidden while his servant goes off in search of greater power and the occasional service to him. Lira leaves to explore the world and develop her power as a Warlock. Eachthighern tells her she must look for injustice and imbalance and while fixing it her powers will grow until she can go back to Aaran and destroy the Eastonbrooks. She wandered alone for a while, avoiding the Lords hunters and eventually found a band of Harpers who took her in. She has been helping them in their various projects, all the while working to develop the power to go back and free the whole village from oppression and make sure the Eastonbrooks never hurt anyone again, (current plan is to Collect up some true Polymorph scrolls and turn them into donkeys), and taking over the manor of the village with her family. Every now and the Eachthighern will give her a task to complete.
