History

Brindle was founded 350 years ago. The population of Ithica was growing rapidly and new land was required to feed them. The first expedition to settle the land initially set up in Rhest then scouts reported more fertile lands to the South. Another expedition was launched and was initially greeted with success the explorers ran in to a group of druids who had come to Ithica from the cataclysm but been dropped off further south. The druids showed the explorers the most fertile lands and asked in exchange they respect the balance with nature. This did not last long only a few weeks after arriving a group of hunters killed a pride of white lions that the druids venerated as holy for pelts and claws. The druids were outraged and killed the hunters. The explorers responded by wiping out the druids and every white lion on the plain. But that was not the end of it. The night the warriors returned to Rhest ghost lions roamed the streets killing all they came across. When dawn came none of the soldiers their families servants were left alive. The expedition was called off and it was not for another 20 years that Brindle was settled Rhest has been left to rot and has since flooded and most of it is now underwater.   500BC Brindle is a thriving town swimming in cash due to the fertile land in the area boats sail to and from the town everyday. With the massive wealth though a group of cut throats and highwayman calling themselves the black knives have recently been robbing people in and on the outskirts of the town,
