The Song of Elorin and Nelithar

This below tale is often told in song, one that is consistent accross elven cultures. The song doesn't translate well from evlish but below is the tales basic elements.
In the beginning, there was only chaos and darkness. The gods of the elves, Elorin and Nelithar, Eilistra and Lirien, looked upon this void and saw that it was empty and unfulfilling. They knew that they must create something new, something beautiful and alive. So, they set to work, using their magic and their wisdom to shape the raw materials of chaos into a new world.
Elorin spoke a word of power, and the world came into being. He formed the sky and the land, the oceans and the mountains, and he filled them with light and life. The world was beautiful and vibrant, and the gods were pleased.
Nelithar then took the land and formed the forests and the oceans, and he gave life to the plants and animals that would live there. He created the rivers and the streams, and he shaped the land into a place of wonder and beauty. The world was now teeming with life and the gods were pleased.
Eilistra blessed the world with music and dance, filling the forests and rivers with melodies and rhythms. Lirien created the moon and the stars, and she gave the elves the gift of dreams and intuition.
Elorin and Nelithar then created the elves, the first children of the world. They gave them grace and beauty, wisdom and magic, and they set them down in the great forests, where they would live and thrive. The elves were filled with wonder and joy, and they looked upon the world with gratitude and reverence.
As the years passed, the elves prospered and multiplied. They built great cities and towns, and they sang and danced and loved, with Eilistra's guidance. They navigated through the night, guided by Lirien's light. The gods watched over them, and they were pleased. And so it was that the elves came to call this world their home, and they knew that they would live here, in harmony with the land, forever.
