History
In the year 297 CE, the Dragonborn arrived. From mountain and tundra, swamp and coastline, forest and desert, they came from the lairs of long dead dragons. They spoke to the people of Itherün where they arrived and declared they were representatives of the Draconic gods Bahamut, Sardinor, and Tiamat. They said the gods were dissatisfied with how little their first creations interacted with the new wave of humanity and so sent forth the dragonborn to ingratiate themselves in the civilisations that stood at the time.
They arrived with vast wealth in many forms; gold, gems, art, knowledge. This wealth quickly elevated them to positions of power and influence. Ambassadors, politicians, advisors, everything shy of monarchs and emperors, appearing to prefer giving advice rather than ruling directly.
