Arkenhorn’s Protectors

This pantheon is unlike many other religions in Itherün. It does not claim to have created humans, nor does it purport to have created the world. They merely reached out to give aid to the people of present day Arkenhorn guidance and lead them to a glorious future.

Mythology & Lore

In the beginning, the humans of Arkenhorn were just small, scattered settlements, constantly under threat from the goblinoids and other monsters that roamed the land. They had no gods to guide them, no protection from the dangers that surrounded them.
But then, the goddess Cerelia came to them. She saw the humans struggling to survive in the harsh land and knew that they needed her help. She blessed the fields and crops of the settlements, ensuring a bountiful harvest. With her help, the humans were able to grow enough food to sustain themselves, and the settlements began to thrive.
Next, the god Justarius appeared. He saw that the humans were living in fear of the monsters that preyed on them, and knew that they needed his protection. He set up a system of laws and protection, ensuring that the people were safe and that justice was served. With his help, the settlements began to grow into towns and cities, and the people felt safe and secure.
The goddess Arcana saw the humans struggling to understand the world around them and decided to help. She brought the knowledge of magic and the arcane to the humans, and they were able to build and create things they never thought possible before. They started to build great cities and grand structures.
The goddess Fortuna saw that the humans were struggling to find good luck and prosperity, she decided to help them. She blessed them with good fortune, and the people became prosperous and successful. They started to trade with other nations and build a powerful kingdom.
The god Artifex saw the humans struggling to create, he came to help them. He taught them how to create and invent, and they started to build great machines and structures. They created the most advanced and beautiful artifacts that the world had ever seen. With his help, the people of Arkenhorn became renowned for their craftsmanship and their creations became sought after by other kingdoms and cultures.
The gods chose a champion from amongst the people they helped. They filled Lady Soriah with the fury, power, and might she needed to secure the lands of Arkenhorn. On her death, the gods elevated her to godhood and she now sits with them and guides her people from on high.
With the help of these gods, the humans of Arkenhorn were able to build a powerful and prosperous kingdom. They had everything they needed to survive and thrive in the harsh land, and they would always remember the gods who had helped them on their journey.
