Thonlokir

The dwarven kingdom is called home by the finest craftsdwarves of the world. Its great mineral wealth and strategic coastal position provide both the raw materials to produce fine goods, and the means to trade them.

Geography

Like other territories in Acrend, Thonlokir is dominated by vast ranges of mountains.

Natural Resources

The vast mountain ranges of the land are a source of near limitless mineral resources for those with the means to extract them and move them.
What flat areas of land exist are almost completely barren. This is partly due to the geography of the mountains, and partly due to poor forestry management and farming practices in the past. What little fertile land remains is very valuable and is farmed intensively, but it is insufficient to meet the needs of the population without being significantly augmented by imports.
