The planes of Itaxia are collectively known as the Planar Rings, named for the fact that they are broadly formed of a series of rings. At the heart of the sphere lies the Material Plane and its reflections: the Feywild, and the Shadowfell.
Bridging the Material Plane to the Inner Sphere is the Ethereal Plane, a plane filled with ethereal mists and ghosts.
The four elemental planes of the Inner Sphere surround this heart. The Inner Spheres rotate around the Material Plane like planets around a star, and are always within relatively close proximity to it.
Bridging the Inner and Outer Sphere sits the Divine Gate, and unfathomably-powerful construct created after the second War of the Gods that prevents the majority of Gods from manifesting into the Material Plane.
Further out, beyond the Divine Gate and within the churning Astral Sea sits the unfathomably vast Outer Sphere, which contains the various Afterlifes of the multiverse and the Divine Realms of the Gods, all of which sit within the waters of the Astral Sea.
This is where the orbit become strange; the rings that each respective plane's orbit forms as it swims through the Sea are strange and unique, with each individual plane having cycles where their presence will be stronger or weaker as they crest closer or further to the Material Plane.
And beyond that, sits the Great Void. A vast, unfathomable darkness outside of the known multiverse, where beings that defy the known conventions of the world dwell...
