Did We Do Something Wrong?

No. You didn't do anything wrong. While Ledensen's is seem most often in villages living close to a Wild Area, rumors that willd exposure leads to Ledensen's is dangerous and based on spurious reasoning. Ledensen's can happen to any child in any village. Neither eating fruit grown in a garden adjacent to a wild area nor consuming wildlife hunted from a wild area are associated with scientifically validated risk in contracting Ledensen's. ¹

Is there a hope?
