Aevis possesses pointed ears and large eyes, thanks to her mixed parentage. She also has sharpened canine teeth, due to her family's G'bu blood.

Personal history
The illegitimate child of a mixed race mother (human, elf, and G’bu respectively) and Aesaria. She was raised in the remote village of Arvid with her foster sister Candelara, a half-elf. After Aevis’ mother died, she was taken by Conrad and several of Aesaria’s surviving advisors to be trained as the picture-perfect leader and ruler.
When Aevis was a teenager, news of the Champions Walk reached Pariah’s Keep. Conrad convinced her to steal the bodies of Semia’s Champions, awakening them as the Coalition’s personal shock troopers. After the Raid of Tregaron, Aevis withdrew back to Arvid to hide with Conrad, Candelara, and a few loyal survivors. The Champions brought her back to the capital city, where she accepted the title of Queen after some hesitation. Since accepting the crown, Aevis has been thrown headfirst into the political chaos of the Hellgates and the Fellwing attacks.
Education
Aevis was educated by Conrad and Aesaria's magical advisors in politics, history, math, philosophy, and language. Aevis was also raised by the Admiral Sixfold Sophine, who drilled her in the basics of swordplay. This was further expanded on by Cecily, Semia's former Duelist Champion. As she grew older and further honed her magical abilities, she was further tutored in military strategy by Conrad.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Aevis led the Coalition after the death of her father, King Aesaria. She acquired the Champions and led them to victory at the Battle of Beacon Hill, though a surprise attack left her army suffering huge losses.
Failures & Embarrassments
Following the capture of Beacon Hill, Aevis devised a plan to take the capital of Tregaron through a surprise attack. This Raid was both a failure and a success: Semia was defeated by the Champions, but the Royal Council's coup was enacted and the Coalition forces were slaughtered along with Semia's loyalists.
Mental Trauma
As a child of mixed parentage and illegitimate, Aevis is extremely sensitive about the subject of her identity. She most often hides her pointed ears under hair, going to great lengths to ensure they're never seen in public.
Having grown up in secret and then on the campaign trail, Aevis was bred for the singular purpose of becoming the perfect ruler. Her single-minded drive for the throne was often tempered by Conrad and Candelara, who often mediated in battle strategies. The apparent death of Sixfold and the eventual death of Conrad left her emotionally fragile and susceptible to outside influences. Isolated in the capital of Tregaron, Aevis still struggles to reconcile her identity with her everyday duties.

Aevis' primary motivation was, at one time, only to take what was hers: Dianera's throne. Once she was named queen, however, her goals became the reunification of the country after it was fractured by the war of succession, the Hellgates, and the Fellwings.

- The Champions: Aevis has a distant and chilly relationship with the Champions, not entirely trusting them or seeing them as the allies she requires. She often delegates to the Royal Council when it comes to giving out assignments.
- The Royal Council: The Royal Council holds the most sway over Aevis, speaking for her when giving the Champions their various assignments. Rutledge and Calary in particular seem to have the most influence over the queen.
