Golden Dragons

Once a prevlevant organization thoughout the lands of Timara they are all but rumors used to scare the populace or little children into behaving. 
The order once spread the doctrine of Bahumat the Platinum dragon, and the organization took its name from the golden dragons that accompany him. They were a paramility group filled with paladins devouted to the Father of Dragons and carried the message of his grace to the far corners of the world. This group was instrumental in organizing the massive force that nearly toppled the Timaran Empire but after the deveasting loss at the Battle of the Lakes, many went into hiding. 
Their influence is still felt throughout the empire for whenever rumors of a new rebellion or opposition reaches the upper escholons of society the name of the Golden Dragons is often not far behind. It is unclear though if this order still exists and operates in Timara as it is never confirmed. There is someone who claims to have meet with them but upon further investigation leads to nothing, which only adds to the paranoia about the group. 
Their zeal is quite legendary and it is told that they would slaughter women, and children if they found them to be irredemable, which is why whole communities were lost to them. This fear can be found in every family that lives on the frontier regions and even the large cities for if the group were to ever return they would surly be killed. Not much more is known for the general populace and even those in noble circles have a difficult time gathering any real information about the group.
For now they plague the minds of every citizen of the Empire, and they are always vigil for the return of the Golden Dragons.
