Dragon Wings

These buildings are rare to find in smaller communities but are abundant in the cities of the Empire of Timara. These buildings are funded, staffed, and directed by the Church of Tiamat in administering to the medical needs of its citizens. 
Only citizens can benefit from the repository of knowledge and skill found in these buildings as they are both training grounds for doctors for the empire that do not need to rely on divine magic, and as clinics to take care of former soldiers and their families. 
Usually having a uniformed design to them these are often curved buildings, with several towers that when viewed from a wall or from the roof of another building look the wings of a dragon (though it is a vague look) and has created the common saying within the empire of "being under a dragon's wing" as an idiom for being sick or being treated for an illness. 
These have been around for the last 200 years as there became a growing need to take of the citizens of the empire and families with aliments while not depriving the clerics of their important religious duties to Tiamat and the Empire. These buildings house dozens of acolytes training to become doctors, and several doctors as well to teach and treat any citizen that walks through their doors. Non-citizens do not benefit from these facilities and often rely on traditional homeland medicine or treatments to heal themselves of the various diseases that run through the cities. 
These buildings are highly prized and well-guarded by members of the Imperial Army and on some occasion a Dragoon. These buildings house the most advanced medicine, and potions in the field of healing and as such need the guards to prevent theft, of this precious resource.
