Elvish Kingdom of Silvamabilia

Elves inhabit the second-largest continent on Isoropia. The most advanced and urbanized of the elves belong to the kingdom of Silvamabilia, to the southwest of the continent, bordering the territory of the humans. King Altivus is the king of the elves, and he governs from the elvish side of Maginsula. This city arose when Vignosa, a famous scholar, founded the Arcane University on an island between the human and elvish continents, and more and more people came to study and learn from her. Vignosa is generally believed to have been a half-elf, but King Altivus believes that she was actually fully elf. He believes the island by right ought to belong to the elves, as they have more natural affinity for magic, but the king is also smart enough not to go to war with the humans over it.   While Altivus would like to believe that all elves are essentially his subjects, the truth is, the further one goes to the east, the less developed the continent is. There are wild wood elves who live in the forests. These form their own communities and tribes, governing themselves and living separately from the elvish kingdom. There are also other races known to live in this part of the forest, but which keep very much to themselves, such as the tabaxi.   In the far northern part of the continent, there are mountains. Whereas the rest of the continent is vibrantly lush with forests, the mountains in the north were scarred, and forest destroyed when the deity Dasos got mad at the drow for using magics of necromancy (at least, that's how they believe it happened). The drow at one point were elves, but they succumbed to the temptations of Apatii, god of chaos, and chased after powerful magics offered by Apatii. These magics angered Dasos, the deity of nature, and Dasos chased them up north, attacking with storms and famines, forcing the drow underground in order to survive. Drow still live there, in the mountains, and presumably have some sort of culture, but they mostly keep to themselves, and very little is known about them.
