Session 5: The Die Wizard Tournament (2)

7 - Evik City

-We discuss the plan with Noma, going over a map of the city
-As we approach the city, we see clear signs of destruction
-People on brooms flying over the library, firing energy. A dragon shoots them down, but is unable to leave the Monsters section
-We avoid wizards fighting and climb up to the monorail. Luckily, we choose one that's not too fucked up

8 - The Train

-We investigate the train to make sure no one else is on board. Circe investigates with fire
-Ezre finds a bunch of dead wizard books in the front car
-We have Circe weld the doors shut and then send the train to the centre library.
-We approach the first stop and the train loses power
-After we restore power, we get attacked by Ballistae Naido (attacking another wizard on top of our train)
-We fight her, but when Del gets a good look at her, she realizes Ballistae is her mother
-They speak but Circe casts Hold Creature on her
-The party talks and decides to destroy her (for Circe's sake), however she breaks out of the spell and flies away
-We then encounter a drow swordmage fighting two other wizards. Ezre helps the drow. They are Summer, the Bladesinger (from Hot Summer in Snow city). they also want to stop the tournament, and join us
-We find explosive runes on the track. Summer deactivates them

9 - Summer Squad

-We approach the central library and notice that there are a bunch of guards....all look like Summer, sort of. They are from fanfics
-Ezre and the real Summer cause a distraction. Summer pretends to be fighting Ezre
-The others sneak in
-Ezre gets charmed. The guards want to take her to see the wizard
-Ezre dawdles, so PvPizzard comes down to meet her
-Just as the rest make it in the door, Liam sees Ballistae flying towards the mountain
