The Rain Curtains of Faeln

In Islemaria there are lots of locations that a denizen or visitor would plan or regularly want to frequent. But the most visited location is the Rain Curtains of Faeln. At this natural landmark was created specifically for the region it resides in is constant downpour and this has given a home to many animals and plants that thrive in these situations. Water newts, land eels, turtles, and just about every animal that can thrive in the water and on land can find a haven here. But visitors do not just come here for the friendly and interesting life that thrives here but for the most beautiful natural occurrence that can not be created by man or Elven kind. These rain curtains are made from the overhanging rocks and trees that create a canopy over the massive cavern that is home to the wildlife.

Hazards & Traps

Though the Sylvanites have made it safe for visitors, it is still quite hazardous for the rocks are extremely slippery when wet. Many guides have been employed to help combat this hazard but people do like to take fate into their own hands and try to trek the caverns on their own. But, as one would have guessed, this usually ends will have negative consequences.

Alterations

Throughout the years of natural wind and water erosion with a bit of help with from The Sylvanites the cavern has been able to be carved out for visitors. Along with this the Sylanites have also helped the wildlife of both plants and animals thrive. They have also saved many species from extinction.

History

This landmark was here before the Ellavara came to Islemaria though some Ellavara report that it was in a drought and with the Ellavara's help it happened to thrive. But this may be a fable passed down from the ancestors with the moral of to always appreciate nature and to care for it.
