All the fun of the Fayre Report

General Summary

Having located Amos, the Orphans mingled with the circus folk before heading straight for Bingo's homestead, located on a 3rd floor apartment on Weevil Street across from the Bloody Stump (a local butcher). After a long earned rest they questioned Amos and Jinx succeeded in gaining some common ground with Amos after completely lying about his background. Jinx determined that Amos was a wayward child despite his noble upbringing, he didnt seem to fit in with his current expected career and had gone off the rails, fell afoul of some wanton strumpet in the big city who had somehow been the cause of his incarceration, but he was vague on the details. He admitted that there were rumours of lycanthropy among the familia but he admitted of no direct knowledge. Sparkles noticed that he was being somewhat reticent with the truth be demurred until later to mention it.
The party headed to The Black Ram, a decent establishment on the outskirts of Festival but still on the island and had a devoured a decent breakfast. It was here that while separated from Amos Sparkles passed on her suspicions. Later the party managed to wheedle out of Amos that he knew a little more of the wererat problem but not much, it was known that the rats had infiltrated one or more of the familia but there was much suspicion but little proof due to their shapeshifting, nobody knew who to trust. He also had a sister in the business but her establishment "the Filleted cat" didnt open until after dark.
Eventually they decided to call in on Amos's uncle Cranston Grast, they had to skirt the carnival and Jinx accepted a ride on the death slide and got a ticket granting him a free drink at Hooters, a local bar. Eventually they arrived at Grast's impressive house and were admitted by the butler. After introductions Sparkles spun a story of potential trade despite the rest of the Orphans trying to reign her in and keep their story simple, however eventually she did mention that they were looking for an errant business colleague/friend who had gone missing but Cranston admitted that he hadnt seen anyone of that description, he did however reward them for rescuing his nephew and mentioned that they might try the carnival first since they often offered work to people passing through.
