A blur of color moved through intricate steps, only the flash of a honed blade proving this whirling mass was indeed a person. Twin scimitars danced in his hands, a mere extension of his arms, weaving an intricate dance of parries and blows. While the scimitars embedded with the symbol of his order were his favorite weapons, he was a master of all weapons and their fighting styles.
Vaalyun Ylyndar was a master of weapons, a flash of movement with blades unseen in the Northern Outposts in centuries. As the second son of Elduin Ylyndar, he had little in the way of his own achievements, except for his prowess with a blade. He was seen as an incredible asset to the outposts and the Order with his immeasurable skill with all weapons. This alone caused his father to name him the weapons master of the Order.
Vaalyun took it upon himself to train his younger siblings in the art of weapons and battle, but it was well-known that his favorite student was always his brother Vamir. The two, while decades apart, were almost like twins, inseparable at most times. They trained and studied together, often out of reach of the oldest Taeral and his constant warnings and teachings. Vaalyun often took some interest in the training of his sister, but he much preferred solitude when training or the company of Vamir.
As part of his ongoing training, Vaalyun serves Taeral as Taeral serves their father, but in many instances, Vaalyun is seen as Taeral's equal. They work together for the good of the Order, awaiting the day that they will take over the daily operations of the Order. In that capacity, Vaalyun has already taken over daily operations relating to weapons and inventories, as his knowledge far surpassed the previous weapons master.
