Duke Alias Grey, elf, ruled the Grey Quarter in the kingdom of Alexandria for three hundred eighty-nine years, starting at the age of eighteen. He was the older son of two, his father was the preceding Duke Elliot Grey and younger brother of two years being Edgar Grey. Alias seemed to be close to his father and brother; they were always sharing jokes under their breaths, and often went on hunting excursions together. When Alias was twenty, Elliot Grey was imprisoned for the attempted murder of King Ezekiel Silver. Alias and Edgar seethed with anger for months. While questioning Queen Diana Silver and King Rohan Silver, Edgar lost his temper and tried attacking the Queen. He left that day without an arm. After emotions settled down, Alias continued his work as Duke, and fell in love with a commoner woman along the way.
Alias Grey took the hand of Ava Eleanora, human, at the age of twenty-three. Soon after they married, they bore two daughters: Lady Celeana Grey and Lady Artemis Grey. Alias taught both his daughters how to hunt, while Duchess Ava Grey introduced her children to other ways of the wild. The Grey children also learned how to govern as Duchesses: mostly Lady Celeana. Together, Duke and Duchess Grey ruled their quarters before they met their unfortunate demise in the Battle of Silence.
Of the lives lost in the Battle of Silence, Alias and Ava Grey were two of many. Their children, Lady Celeana and Lady Artemis, were heartbroken. Lady Celeana took over as Duchess Celeana Grey for the next few years until both siblings vanished. Celeana Grey was found dead in her bedroom, while Artemis went missing.
