Osgoloth, City of Agriculture

Osgoloth, the city of agriculture. One of the few self-sufficient city-states of Interitus, at least, when it comes to food. Beyond that, the city is made up of farmers, those with no true battle experience. As such, the city is forced to employ mercenary squads for the sake of protection, funded by a gold they simply pretend to have. Already, the city has been raided by goblins, orcs, and other foul creatures of the night, but still they choose to rebuilt. This ground is theirs, they grew up with it, lived it, worked it. The only reason they're willing to leave, is when their spirits leave their bodies, and they drop to the floor dead.   Aside from the farmers, however, rumors run that deep beneath the mayor's home, there is a resting place of an ancient demon, weakened by the jump to Interitus. Slowly, and quietly, the creature is said to be biding it's time, till the day comes where it can rise once more as a king amongst kings within this new world of chaos. And if you were to listen in on the winds, it is said that you might even hear it's name. K R A T H A K

Structure

The city of Agriculture is lead by the lead farmer, a strange man, and self-proclaimed mayor, named Edric Esselworth. Beyond this, there are few in terms of officals.

Public Agenda

To grow sustainable that they no longer require trade with the capital. At the moment, it seems more like a fever dream than a reality.

Assets

Food, from animals to vegetables. As well as silk, leather, and horse shoes. The farmers of Osgoloth are not of a wealthy sort, instead, they simply take what they can get, and are grateful all the while.

History

Osgoloth was originally founded by two young men, of who's names have since been lost to history. These two men had taken their families, and made for a mad dash to escape from The Capital, having seen firsthand the horrors that went on. Instead, they made for a village all their own, a farming town, where they would have to obey none other than themselves.
