New Jakura

The Tolana and Rhonains co-inhabited the same planets for thousands of years. They share similar genetics but are two different species. They have a long history of war and peace, but in 2040, the Tolana resulted to nuclear weapons to destroy a large portion of the population and the main Rhonian cities, demanding the surrender and subordination of the Rhonians. The Rhonain capital, Jakura, a city that was thousands of years old, was left in ruins.     The Rhonains served as a major labor force for the Tolana, but are aggressive and dominant by nature. They began implementing guerrilla tactics in Mech factories and Tolana cities. They asked the Solis for help, but the Solis refused to intervene, sighting their neutral political stances and general disagreement with Rhonaian tactics, ethics, and overall belief systems and structures. The Rhonains argued that the Tolana were crossing ethical lines by using nuclear and biological weapons. Some Solis were sympathetic, but ultimately they refused help. Angered by their decision, the Rhonians began organizing attacks on Soli diplomatic visitors to Terraium, and then, rouge suicide missions to Solarium to attack research labs.   The Solis had not been attacked on their planet in centuries. Fearful, they agreed to secretly help the Tolana develop a biological weapon to eradicate the Rhonians. As they worked on development, the rebel leader, Asterion, grew a larger army that began full-scale attacks on Tolana towns. Fear spread throughout the rural areas of Terraium, and many Tolana felt as though they were losing dominant role. As the Rhonaian attacks increased and the stability of Tolana life became threatened, the Grand Eminence unleashed the biological weapons on the Rhonains, killing millions and demanding surrender.   The Solis, angered by the rash and unapproved use of the weapons, threatened the Tolana with heir own biological weapons, developed specifically to combat the Tolana. The Circinus galaxy was on the brink of war and mass destruction when the Tolana scholars intervened with the Grand Eminence, calling for a peace table. The Solis, Rhonians, and Tolana came together for a month. The treaty resulted in the Rhonians receiving their own planet, Rhona. While the planet was only partially terraformed and crawling with destructive creatures, Asterion accepted the agreement, seeing it as the best outcome for true long-term independence for his people. The Tolana agreed to a 100-year peace with the Rhonaians, as long as the Rhonaians did not attack them. The Soli agreed to a 100-year peace with the Tolana, with the same agreement. They offered to help the Rhonians, but Asterion refused, wanting true independence and knowing his people would not accept the help.   To build the new settlement of Jakura, the Rhonians retrieved brick and metal from the ruins, using it as the basis to build their new city.
