Sin's house; a-Saidalia

Purpose / Function

This is where Sinan, the Clever lives with his parents. His parents have an actual apothecary in al-Madina but they also see people at home, so people have started referring to it as a-Sayadia a-Thani - the second apothecary. Their front garden is also where they grow all of their ingredients - any flower, fruit, vegetable, herb, anything at all, grows in that garden. It is the most beautiful garden anywhere - rivaled only by that of the palace. Really, the apothecary in the city is for daily emergencies and appointments; their home is for every other time. They do not rest.

Alterations

Really it's meant for living in, but since people started visiting them at home, Sin's parents built a surgery and a dispensary into their home. Their house is big enough, really. They're filthy rich.

Architecture

Limestone everything. Smooth surfaces, white walls, utterly pristine - everywhere, save the apothecary, surgery, and dispensary. Shining surfaces, a pergola out the front in the garden. Big brass door, golden knockers. High archways. It's just gorgeous.
