Palace Haris

Composition

Manpower

The general Haris palace forces are 200 men strong, not including the personal Haris of Saleh, al Malik, al Ealia and the other royals. Each royal has their own special guard. But the malik, malika, and amira all have a unit prescribed to them.

Equipment

All Haris carry with them several versions of knives - sayfs, daggers, machetes - along with magic in their system. Only the very senior haris are given magic (that's a part from the special forces).

Weaponry

They have in their possession bombs and other grenade weapons - things that can cause damage from a distance - all magic-made.

Vehicles

Haris go around on foot, usually, but use horses to get around more quickly, if need be. They also have carts if groups need to get places together.

Structure

The general haris all answer to one man - Anas, the Vizier, the royal vizier. But each of the units delegated to the malik, malika, and amira have a leader among them, and they answer to them.

Training

There is a rigorous training routine for anyone wanting to become a palace haris. They are put to the ultimate test, both physical and mental. They are broken, so that they can be reborn.

Logistics

Upkeep

They are of the palace, for the palace. Money is no issue, or barrier.

Recruitment

Both men and women can apply to be a palace haris. They only must be strong enough, and not mind denouncing all familial ties, instead living in palace quarters specially marked for them. Their families get compensation, and the recruits get paid well, and are put in positions of honour. This job is one of prestige.
