Spiritpractice

What most groups have in common, even though they worship different gods and have different ideals and morals, is Spiritpratice, the worship of the spirit, its powers and trying to better your own spirit. While different groups have different versions and ideas of this, it all comes down to the basic that; the spirit is what makes us human, and it provides this world with the magic it possesses. It is as natural as any natural law, although a bit more mystical. This is true for most groups except the Fire worshippers, who don't worship the spirit in the same way as the other large groups.

Different groups different versions:

Barbarians

Their version of spiritpractice revolves around the balance of their two gods Silvernoari and Rarombull, representing nature and peace, and mankind and violence. They believe both are necessary for balance, but it's important not to let the mankind part overbear the nature part. Man should always respect nature and the spiritbeings, which they believe to be a part of Silvernoari. Barbarians see animals as their equal, and most warrior's form bonds with their horses and Hanvaj. This makes hunting very special, and all hunters offer a prayer to the spirit of whatever animal they have killed out of respect. They respect and honor the spirits who play a big part in nature. They also see spirits less as mythical beings and more of a part of nature. They also believe magic is something that should belong only to spiritbeings and it is forbidden for humans to use it.

Great Farmers

In their version of spiritpractice, the goal is to grow your own spirit and learn to connect to others, but also to be at peace with different spiritbeings. They offer incense and different works of arts to spiritbeings, as well to contribute to the cycle of spirits, or the one big spirit, Caeulce.

Swampdwellers

They have their own version of Spiritworship, which focuses on spirits in nature and different rituals. Swampdwellers worship “Elder Spirits, who are a core part of nature and its functions, and are less physical than other spiritbeings. Swampdwellers believe that through rituals and worship of nature in its basic form, one can connect to nature on a personal level, through the Elder spirits. This is the goals of most religious swampdwellers, who spend a lot of energy in festivals and traditions

Fire-worshippers

The entire Fire-worshipper society is based around what most people refer to them as; "fire worship". Flames and fire are of course important symbols, so candles and lanterns are everywhere. The class hierarchy is also based around religion, specifically what role you have and how it relates to Exordas. Laws and punishment are also "religious". The fire worship religion itself is based on the fact that fire is both the giver of all life, through warmth, cooked food and safety, but also the taker of life. Fire is therefore something you should respect and devote your life to. In this religion are born equal, even though some people have higher positions in society. The warmth inside you is also Exordases fire, and when you die that fire will leave your body and become a star in the sky. Stars, just like you, are children of the sun. Since there is life (fire) inside everyone, no life is worth more than another. The fire worshippers don't believe in spirtbeings either. Light is, just like fire, Exordas presence in the world, and spiritbeings are manifestations of her.
