Flickerpond

A village in western Euresia with a horrible reputation. Flickerpond is located on the bank of a big swamp pond, and sells lanternfruit to other villages. The village, which relies on their Amboo tree plantations underwent a long famine when a bug infestation destroyed the harvest. When fruit finally started coming again, the fruit had gone bad and a small plague killed even more people. A lot of people in the village blamed the bad luck on the wizard and former healer Hemmel Bleakmoss. He had started "reviving" corpses using evoking, as a form of Bodying, to give a home for lost spirits and people saw this as blasphemy.
