Silas Floodwood

Today he acts as the captain of the Highguard, but when he grew up he was just a poor fishers-son who lived in a small house in Branchville. One day however, he saved the Earl during a big raider attack and was given a position in the guard. He worked for the guard for several years until he was elected captain of the guard. He continued his life by climbing the ranks until he was taken in as a member of the Highguard. During a raid on a group of Vulture Folk, almost everyone in his party was killed, including the current leader of the Highguard. Just like he had done many times before, he moved up the ranks and took the position as the new captain of the Highguard, a position he has held to this day. All this has led to him becoming extremely cynical and he puts loyalty and duty before anything else.
He wields a long sword which he handles with extreme grace and speed despite its weight.

Personality

Cynical and cold, but follow a strict code of moral obligation. He puts duty and honor before anything else. Secretly has a love for art, but never tried to express it.

Appearance

He is of extremely large build, almost 2,3 meters tall and broad shoulders. His hair is long and blonde, which contrasts his fairly dark skin. Always seen wearing some sort of armor, and always keeps a weapon at hand, preferably his longsword.
