Blockhead Homeworld
The blockheads hail from a barely-hospitable planet. The sun is boiling-hot in the summer, the sands and bare rock grow no grass, the winds rip towns off their foundations, what vegetation exists is sparse, durable, and gets mad when you try to it it, and the seas are lakebeds half of the year. The blockheads will be just fine if they don't go back, except the Slatespawn, who want to go back very badly.
Geography
It's a barren world with salty, shallow oceans that dry to puddles when summer comes and dust storms which shred flesh. If the ground beneath one's feet isn't sand or dirt, it's bare stone.
Fauna & Flora
Imagine Earth, then take almost all of the vegetation and most of the biodiversity. The sea life is the most impressively-disparate, and that doesn't say much.
Natural Resources
It's like many planets, except without most animal goods.
