Eclipse

There isn't going to be much here for right now. However, this is my gambit. I wish nothing more than to rejoin the joy of Eterna. I cannot turn back. I cannot look away from the light. I cannot give up. I wish I could. I am compelled eternally to march toward the oblivion of Eterna. I am aware that I should not, but I do so anyways. There is no way to stop it. My mind so dark and corrupt that darkness must always exist within my lights.

I know you cannot understand this pain. I do not want you to. However, please do not follow me. Please... don't try to save me. I've told you this countless times at this point, but it will always be the same message. I'm not going to indulge your curiosity, so you'll continue. I'm going to try to get you to fail. That's all an Eternal Eclipse can do. When you face the infinite void of nothing, to pierce the veil, the only way is to keep moving forward right Calypso? The only way is to move forward together. When will this ever end? When will I be allowed to quit?

When will I stop being the slave of the light?

Qualifications

To retain your lord granted position, you must show continual and unending loyalty to the "lord" above Calypso.

Requirements

Requires to be the current residing head over the now extinct Twilight Shade species. Yeah. "Extinct." We'll see about that Calypso.

Appointment

There is no choice. He was forced to deal with this from the moment of his birth to this moment. He was born as an angel in his army, and Calypso never learned to let go. Even when the both of them died and ascended together. Eclipse may as well be called "slave" instead.

Duties

Too much. Way too much for any trooper like himself to deal with. It's time to work on saving his life like he saves everyone else's. This trooper has been spiraling for FAR too long. I cannot allow him to lose this extended warfare he's forever trapped in.

Responsibilities

Managing time of all things. Space, time, and especially darkness. Darkness that will fully consume everything if not kept under constant control. Can you even imagine that burden? That responsibility? If so, you have my sincerest sympathies.

Benefits

Very little that will actually counteract the sheer guilt that gets repeated in his mind infinitely. This Infinity Loop must be broken for him to have any chance of having a life. A history. A desire in the slightest.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

The only way to ascend is through death. The death of a concept, idea, or sadly as it often is with Eclipse, his own death. Experienced as a replay over and over and over to torture him until his entire soul is nothing but vapors. We cannot allow for this "inevitability." We can only hope and pray it never truly happens.

Form of Address

There is no incorrect way of addressing darkness, so address him however you please. As kind or scathing as you like.
