Curare Fae are known for being the embodiments of healing. Their songs carry a soothing effect that reduces mental symptoms and a magical glow which helps physical ailments. Well they don’t actually cure anything, so much as they encourage the body’s natural immune system and help accelerated self-regeneration.
They have abilities to enhance and artificially create immunities towards particular ailments, or more accurately they have the ability to cure specific illness with specific roots, while able to attend to symptoms of others. Jainesis seems to have a preferences towards ailments of the stomach and while I haven’t found what specific illness he is able to cure – I will also mention that I didn’t find Jainesis like other practitioners, he found me later in life. Meaning I don’t have the advantage of knowing what medicinal properties his birth foliage has.

Note: Need to get Helga some more White Snakeroot, Jainesis really doesn’t want to treat her. Need to stop indulging his odd preferences towards patients.

Basic Information

Anatomy

These fae are on the smaller side of its kin, but have been documented to borrow the organic world around them to create an amplifier of their natural abilities in order to save the life of their chosen practitioner.

Growth Rate & Stages

These fae don't seem to grow much taller than the average Pixie's height. Beginning life in beds of numerous medicinal plants, no larger than a walnut, and grow to full size within about a month's time.

Ecology and Habitats

High concentrations of medicinal plants. The properties of the plants they born within seems to give the fae a high proficiency in the properties those plant present.

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

They are known for being able to see past physical obstacles when diagnosing the ill, without the consumption of magical energy.
It’s suspected that this ability is the constant state of their vision rather than an attribute that can be controlled at will.

These Fae are next to impossible to find unless you are a medical practitioner of true quality, these are the only types of people who these fae choose to reveal themselves to.
Given the fact that they have an unusual ability to appear and disappear at will. They have consistently showcased their preference of disappearing when it seems that they will be separated from their chosen practitioner, the ones placed under protection are not the Fae but their practitioners in question, due to the high death count when one is in possession of such a fae.
