This herb is one of the few counter measures to magic within the world. It is able to absorb as well as repeal magic depending on it's state. They also have a great taste as well!

Basic Information

Anatomy

With one large steam, it sprouts small leafs along the stem to give it a fuzzy appearance. At the base of each leaf is a pink pigment, the darker the pigment, the more magic it has absorbed. When sufficient magic has been absorbed the tip of the tip produces a bright pink flower. It's petals are immune to all forms of magic until plucked in which they lose their properties in about a week.

Ecology and Habitats

It grows in the plains and fields. In many cases it is treated as an annoying weed due to it's similar appearance to the Tarshwid Weed.

Dietary Needs and Habits

It needs constant sunlight to live. Be careful not to drown it however, but it need only small quantities of water.

Uses, Products & Exploitation

Farming these plants have become an entire industry, but it is extremely difficult to the need for magic to be used in their proximity. However, when it is accomplished they have many uses. Typically, used royal clothing for protection, the petals are harvested and stuffed into pockets among the clothing. It also is pressed into a perfume which is believed to weaken the strength of spell casting.
In other cases, the herb is a delicacy in some regions with many cultures incorporating them in their dishes. Regions such as the Areus Moor Plains sue them frequently.

Does it actually work? Well yes and no. Magic is still a powerful tool, but under the right circumstances having an extra layer of protection could be the difference between life or death.
