Why are the water and fire magics controllable, but the earth and air magics are not controllable by us?

This is typically true that fire and water are only the controllable elements for sapiens to practice. However, there are always exceptions to the rule. The following section will discuss how magic in the elemental discipline controlled and the rules surrounding it.

Manifestation

Fire

Fire magic is centered around the emotions that boils inside an individual and is unleashed into the flame to fuel it. However, each emotion fuels the flame differently and can result in affects that change it's behavior. This creates combinations of emotions to control it's power. Dancers say that these are similar to fighting forms or styles with each used in a certain manor.
Rage: This is the strongest form, however it is the hardest to wield and move. In most cases, people use this form as a form against multiple attacks with burst of energy.
Sadness: This is form is sprays of sparks and flames. Just as rain falling from the sky, the form creates burning ash in the air providing a constant source of fire, but is also considerably weaker. This form is good for long drawn out conflicts or grand displays of fire and lights.
Fear: This form is made as you may expect, is defensive with fire burning longer then would be considered possible. This is also the only form that allows for the fire continue burning without concentration.
Happiness: This form is all around base style. With no weaknesses or strengths, this style is considered the staple form that is the easiest to learn and the most commonly practiced.
Love: This form is the weakest in fire strength, but the easiest to control. It's used for recovery and some protection in order to reestablish one's dance and to bring the dance under control if it blazes out of control. However, this form is the hardest to master.
Hate: This form is very offensive and gives new meaning to the power of hate. It's powerful attacks are great in one on one combat or directed displays. the concentration requires to sustain this hate is the hardest to maintain, but it s quite controllable.
These are the main six used into professional training. While there are many more emotions and styles, discussing each one would be a waste of resources and time. However if there are any you wish to know more about, please ask and we will answer.

Water

Water magic is centered around inner peace and serenity. Having a clear and powerful mind gives strength to the wielder and the water it controls. There are only three technique used to control this magic. They are used to control their three states of ice, water, and steam. Typically, only one of these forms is practiced at a time due to it's ridge methods, but with enough time and practice anyone can master all three forms.
Serenity: This technique deals with water's liquid state and comes from inner peace. This style is one of the most difficult to master, but the most practiced due to it's versatility. With no real weakness, it does rely there being liquid water which can be hard to find in some locations. It's exceptionally strong against multiple opponents when their is a large presence of water.
Apathy: This technique works with the cold solid state of ice. One of the extremist forms with it either being heavily offensive or incredible defensive depending on the movements used. However, it is agreed upon that this form can only be used by certain people who have developed an apathetic mindset. When mastered it is considered one of the most powerful styles among all the elements.
Determination: This technique works with the water vapor within the air. it comes from the unwavering mental strength to accomplish goal, this form is typically the easiest form to learn and is used as a stepping stone between water and fire. Masters are rare, due to it's ease of skill, but used defensively and rarely used to attack.

Earth \ Air

While natural training is impossible for normal people, it's said that under certain conditions, someone can wield their power. Our research suggests that having a mastery over magic in general opens up this field of magic. This would suggest that this magic is not attuned to light or dark magics which could be why it is impossible for people to learn, but this is mere speculation. It is more likely that there is a third aspect of magic we haven't discovered yet. We have not found a recent record of someone using these magics in the past thousand years.
