An Enchanter's Focus

Light magic is complicated, but in simplicity, it's all about their will. A focus eases the user's mind while also amplifying the user's magic. Each is unique in it's own way. They are connected to their wielder. As they wielder grows stronger, so does the focus. In this way, the two are perfect companions to each other.   Once constructed it's indestructible even to dark magic. The sliver working prevents the darkness to tamper with it, while the light blessing protects it from physical and magical harm. If it's owner dies, the focus also dies and loses all it's magic properties permanently.

Manufacturing process

Constructing a focus is one of the most difficult processes ever known. The base focus is made of silver. Which is easy to find and smelt. It can be smelted into anything the smith wants, but it's recommend that it's part of some sort of weapon such as a hilt, staff, etc. Once constructed it must be bathed in a Scion's Glade for an hour. This is problematic due to the rarity of the glades and needing a scion to guide the smith there. After that it needs to be light blessed. To do this either an Enchanter blesses it themselves, but it will attune to the enchanter or finding distilled light magic. Distilled light magic is such a rare commodity that the Imperium has never found enough to fill even fill a spoon full. You need about 2 milligrams to have a successful blessing.   As such this is a difficult process. In most cases it's made for a certain enchanter in mind and as such is a lot easier. Scion's usually help them as it is anyway and this is no exception.

Significance

They are made for light enchanters to wield their magic. A powerful weapon that amplifies the user's magic into a great and powerful form.
We've never have been able to locate one of these weapons to study. I sought them out and even tried my man at making one, but without light magic, it's impossible. It's such a powerful weapon that it's essential for every enchanter to have one.
