Solia

In accordance to the Eight Edicts of the First Imperatrix Theadora Matron Justinius passed on the 15th of October 1301 a.u.c. the creation of the Pillar of the Solia to support the Imperium and to provide a single voice and view to lead the Imperium was formed. The Solia is, at the time of passing, divided into five ranks and are directly related to the Ordo Societas with each Solia governing over each division of the Imperium.
Each Solia member serves her position for at minimum 20 years or as long as she is physically able, until either her body or mind fails her. All Higher Rank Solia are promoted from the rank bellow with the exception of the Magistrate that is elected via the Citizens within the Urb Toparchia. After a vacancy appears within the ranks of the Solia a one hundred day Coetus is convened in order to for the Solia's to select one of their member to promote. In order to be promoted into a higher rank the hopeful must gain three fourths support of their fellows and a confirmation of the remaining Pillars; Judicium, Omnis Militaris(to the equivalent ranks and applicable divisions), Ministerium, and the Assembly. If no Solia is promoted within the hundred day period all participating members of the Coetus loose their position on the grounds of failure to perform the core duties of her position.
If a Solia performs poorly there exist three ways for them to e stripped from their position. A Suffragium ex ne Fides, in which the voting body of Patricians that put the Solia in power can retract their votes and the Solia looses her Dotatus Autoritas. A Reminiscor is when the Plebians that promoted the Solia that made her eligible for the vote take back their support. A Regnare is when a higher or equal ranked Solia petitions the Imperium, the highest authority, to investaget not just the Solia in question but her entire government, Solia, Senita, Vigil Militaris, Ministrium, and Judicium, and if the evidence used in the petition is true then a fully new government is instated, including the Solia.
