Elemental Dancer

bard archetype

Elemental dancers have learned their exotic performances from genies shaping and bending their natural element into a fantastic dance. To a genie, an elemental dancer is just a cheap imitation of their performance, but in the eyes of other mortals, these artists perform wonders.     Chosen Element (1st level, Ex): At 1st level, an elemental dancer chooses one of the following elements: fire (fire), water (cold), earth (acid), or air (electricity). His bardic performances incorporate this chosen element.     Elemental Performance (1st level, Su): At 1st level, an elemental dancer learns to protect himself and others from the pain of his chosen element. He discovers how to control the element using his bardic performance. Each round of the elemental performance, he rolls a Perform (dance) check. Any ally within 30 feet (including the bard himself) that is affected by a spell or ability of the same type as the bard's chosen element can use the bard's Perform check result in place of its saving throw result against that effect. The elemental performance relies on visual components.  This ability replaces countersong.     Elemental Strike (3rd level, Su): At 3rd level, the elemental dancer can spend 1 round of bardic performance as standard action to command the element he is manipulating with his elemental performance to lash out and strike an opponent with a slam attack. The elemental dancer uses his base attack bonus and Charisma bonus to make this attack, and deals 1d6 points of bludgeoning damage plus his Charisma bonus. This attack can originate from any square within 30 feet of the bard. It can get a flanking bonus or help a combatant get one but cannot make attacks of opportunity. The element can make multiple attacks per round if your base attack bonus allows you to do so, making it a full-round action. At 10th level, the slam attack damage increases to 1d8 points and the element gains a reach of 10 feet. At 15th level, the slam attack damage increases to 2d6 points. At 20th level, the slam attack damage increases to 2d8 points. This performance replaces inspire competence.     Augment Summoning (Su): At 5th level, any creature with the chosen element subtype the elemental dancer summons gains the benefits of the Augment Summoning feat.  This ability replaces lore master for this level.     Elemental Dancer Spells: A elemental dancer adds certain elemental-themed spells to his spell list. He adds these spells to his spell list as soon as his bard level allows him to cast spells of that spell level.     Air: 0—breeze; 1st—shocking grasp, alter winds; 2nd—fog cloud, gust of wind, levitate; 3rd—fly, lighting bolt, wind wall; 4th—ball lightning, river of wind; 5th—overland flight; 6th—chain lightning.   Earth: 0—acid splash; 1st—stone fist, grease; 2nd—acid arrow, stone call, create pit; 3rd—burrow, stinking cloud, spiked pit; 4th—acid pit, stoneskin; 5th—wall of stone; 6th—acid fog.   Fire: 0—flare; 1st—burning hands, flare burst; 2nd—scorching ray, flaming sphere, fire breath; 3rd—fireball, protection from energy (fire only 4th—firefall, wall of fire; 5th—fire snake; 6th—contagious flame.   Water: 0—ray of frost, create water; 1st—hydraulic push, obscuring mist; 2nd—frigid touch, hydraulic torrent, water walk; 3rd—aqueous orb, sleet storm, water breathing; 4th—ice storm, wall of ice; 5th—cone of cold; 6th—freezing sphere.
