Elemental Cleric

cleric archetype

Elemental clerics follow the will of the elements with a single-minded focus and zeal, most commonly found on Ianna, although a few elemental clerics put their faith in a Terrian god. Their dedication is rewarded with an elemental companion to aid them on their quests.

Elemental Voice (1st level, Ex): An elemental cleric gains the elemental language tied to their element. Aquan for water, Auran for air, Ignan, for fire and Terran for Earth Clerics.

Elemental Focus (1st level): An elemental cleric focuses solely on one element and only gains a single domain. He must choose one of the following domains: Air, Earth, Fire, or Water. If the cleric worships a deity, that deity must grant one of those same domains.  This ability alters the normal domain ability.

Elemental Companion (1st level, Su): At 1st level an elemental cleric forms a bond with an elemental appropriate to their chosen domain. This elemental is a loyal companion that accompanies the elemental cleric on his adventures. The elemental companion is a single elemental whose Hit Dice do not exceed his cleric level. If an elemental cleric releases his companion from service or his elemental companion perishes, he may gain a new one by performing a ceremony requiring 24 hours of uninterrupted prayer in an environment where the companion typically lives.

Elemental Empathy (8th level, Ex): At 8th level, an elemental cleric can improve the initial attitude of a creature with the elemental subtype associated with his chosen element, regardless of whether he speaks the elemental's language. This ability functions like a Diplomacy check to improve the attitude of a person (see Chapter 4 of the Core Rulebook), but the elemental cleric adds his cleric level and his Charisma bonus to determine the result instead of his diplomacy skill.
