Darkwood Swords
Darkwood swords are used for training noble children from an early age, because the wooden swords are durable and light and thus easier to train the young nobles in the art of swordplay.
For this purpose, only short swords, longs swords, daggers and scimitars are made out of darkwood, all darkwood weapons will deal non-lethal damage. Due to the magical properties of the wood, skillfully crafted, and carefully enchanted the wood can be made lethal. This enchanted wood is called ironwood, as strong as steel, as light as darkwood and as lethal as any normal sword but still wood.
The secrets to making ironwood, is carefully guarded by the druids and are only given to those who serve nature.
