Helix Tree

Whilst calling the Helix Tree a single tree is not exactly correct in itself, it is not far from the truth. A pair of giant trees, species unlike anything around Enrynnia. one a stark white and the other a pitch black intertwine each other in a form like a Double Helix.
Whilst they never touch, alternating branches provide steps that lead up the gap in between the trees. This staircase allows one to traverse to the top of the Tree to observe it's nature. The bark, boroughs and formations of the tree all are warped in unnatural manners, showing unique pictures and words to each viewer, open to interpretation.
Gaurded by a Genasi clan, unknown to most, the roots of the trees form an impenetrable cage deep under the soil, a prison for some of the most terrible of things, a Harbinger.
