Greenweld

Perhaps the most temperate and safe forest within Ameril, the Greenweld is a relatively peaceful stretch of wooded area roamed by all kinds of natural beasts.
True, the occasional traveler will disappear, and true, there are some legends of powerful creatures that lurk there but for the most part the forest's dangers pale in comparison to many of the other wooded areas in The Heartlands.
The large troop movements of both the The Yushan Empire and Amerilian armies causing most of the wildlife to go into hiding, although some larger predators have taken a liking to human flesh.
With the recent defeat, some Yushan forces have permanently made their home in the trees, now bandits and waylayers who prey on those who travel nearby.
Home to many Afflicted, the Greenweld seem to attract outcasts or those seeking to hide away from society.
