The Tower on 35th and Ivory

Built in the year 2091, the Tower is a large religious building for worshipers of Vestrianism. The tower is so large that climbing to the top is meant as a religious pilgrimage and to stand at the top is nirvana. It has become a massive place of interest for those that worship Vestrian and a yearly pilgrimage there is expected of most of that faith.

Purpose / Function

The purpose is to give Vestrians a sort of challenge to test their faith and resolve. To reach the top is a sign of great respect to their God and also to their respect to themselves.

Alterations

After a fire broke out in 2093, the third floor of stairs was replaced with marble. This was used in religious soliloquy to represent the hardships Vestrian faced during her journey.

Architecture

The architectural style of the Tower sticks out like a sore thumb among the totalitarian buildings around it. It has an ancient building feel with modern interiors. The peak of the tower feels like an ancient tower with large open windows and a walk way around the top.

History

Since its creation a mere 13 years ago, the Tower has become a social icon for the religious. It shows as a testament that even in the modern society of Crestfall, that religion can still shine through. However, that doesnt mean it has been without scrutiny. A large amount of riots began in the year 2097 centered around the tower. The reason being that the tower was an eyesore to the tenants and also deeply offensive to the members of other religions living in close proximity of it. Thousands of people would line up to walk the tower everyday creating traffic back up and crime. Soon the neighborhood would be mostly taken over by Vestrianists and the riots subsided.
