Dwarvish Dialect- Ogre

The Ogre's have a very violent and bloody past filled with hardship. Surviving like the cockroaches that they call family, their culture is an infamous one. As such, a few popular phrases are known by most Ogres. Most Ogre sayings are coming from a place of extreme hatred and isolationism. The world wronged Ogres many years ago and now they live a hard life full of strife.   Ogres have essentially adapted the Dwarvish language into their own. In doing so though they have simplified a majority of it. So while Dwarves have no problem listening to Ogres, Ogres would run into difficulty listening to the more complex main Dwarvish.

Writing System

They use the Dwarvish alphabet in the rare chance that they are writing.

Geographical Distribution

Most Ogre sayings are held among themselves. The few that slip from their underworld colony passed on and bastardized so that the meaning has changed tenfold.

Phonology

The dialect of Dwarvish that the Ogres speak is almost like a simplified version of it. Most Dwarves can speak to Ogres without problem but may run into issues with the inherent grunting that Ogres do as they speak.

Morphology

Ogre-speak is short and often times lacks any huge bumbling sentences. If a sentence is longer than 7 words, its considered a long sentence in the Ogre dialect.

Syntax

Continuing from the strange Morphology, the syntax of the sentences that Ogres speak is hardly ever correct. Sentences like "This food good," or "kill man." are commonplace and hardly ever flow like a Basic sentence would.

Vocabulary

The Ogre vocabulary is very simplistic and often times they lack the necessary word to define ideas they may have.

Phonetics

All Ogre dialect is done with a heavy amount of grunting. Each word inches out as if its painful for the Ogre to speak. In truth, their intellect never caught up with their physical growth and so it very well might be painful for them to speak.
Common Phrases
"Tag irol tof baya." Which means "Back off my doorstep." This was famously said in the ogre tale of Herk when he turned against his human captors who had stormed his home. "Thaga beka ol bran thaga." meaning "Blood begets blood." This saying is also used in the tale. "Kregno" meaning "Hello" "Gwefol" meaning "Goodbye." "Gwil da" meaning "Fuck you." "Da uhr gwilder." meaning "You are a fucker."
Common Female Names
Gwella, Baru, Targa, Olga, and Palga are the five most famous female Ogre names. Most Ogre names are slightly altered names from Dwarves as that is where their culture and people originate from.
Common Male Names
Erg, Dahg, Tolgo, Greng, and Igor are the most famous male Ogre names.
Common Unisex Names
Groff, Bayo, Olveg, Lem, and Krek are the most famous unisex Ogre names.
